This award was presented to the District by All-American Rose Selections, Inc. All-American Rose Selections provides a test period of two years for rose submitted by hybridizers. Selection as an AARS winner usually means increased sales of the plants to the public. Many of the selections of the years since 1940 are still available for purchase.
