Moore Buckeye District Trophy This trophy is awarded for an entry of seven miniature roses, one bloom per stem, each a different variety, exhibited in separate containers. This award honors Mr. Ralph S. Moore of Visalia, California. Mr. Moore is founder and operator of Seuoia Nursery/Moore Miniature Roses in Visalia. He has had significant influence on the development of miniature roses in the United States. His creations may be found in the parentage of many of the roses that we grow and exhibit today. He has been especially influential in moss roses, both miniature as well as large types. He is an avid supporter of the American Rose Society, contributing plants, money, and time to its betterment.
