Back to District Information Harry O’Brien Memorial Trophy This trophy is awarded for an entry of five different Hybrid Tea roses at exhibition stage, each an All-American Rose Selections winner, each in a separate container. This award was first presented in 1969 and honors Harry O’Brien, the first Director of the Buckeye District from 1947 to 1952. He was a resident of Columbus and a member of the Columbus Rose Club and the Central Ohio Rose Society.
