Cecil C. Roach Memorial Trophy

 

This trophy was originally awarded for an entry of four Hybrid Tea roses of the same or different varieties, in the red color class, each in a separate container. Currently the trophy is awarded for an entry of three floribunda sprays, same or different varieties, each in a separate container. This award honors Cecil Roach who resided at Rocky River, Ohio. He was active in the Buckeye District, serving as first Vice-President in 1961 and Secretary in 1962. He was the District’s Outstanding Consulting Rosarian in 1966.
